The Under 50 division saw Brian Polick, of Valrico, go wire-to-wire to win his first FSGA Championship. Polick posted a round one four under-par 68 to take the early lead over Justin Thomas who carded a two under-par 70. Thomas dropped to a third place finish after a round two 79 while Polick played steady and carded a 73 for a three under-par total 141. Polick earned his first victory by six strokes over Adam Rosenberger, of Rockledge. Rosenberger posted rounds of 72-75 for a 147 second place finish.

The 50-64 division experienced a come from behind win from Todd Gilbert, of Tampa. Gilbert, past 2014 Men’s Net Champion, sat six behind Gregg Sargent who posted a round one four-under par 67.
