Format

Players will be scored by their performance in the following skill areas:

  • Drive -  Each player will hit two tee shots. The longer of the two tee shots which has landed inside the boundary lines will be the ball selected to count. The player with the longest drive will receive 10 points in their respective age division. The player with the second longest drive will receive 9 points, and so on, all the way down to the shortest driver of the ball receiving 1 point.
  • Chip -  Each player will hit two chip shots. After each chip shot has come to rest, the distance to the hole remaining will be measured. The distance from the hole from the first chip and second chip are combined to give the player their cumulative distance to the hole. The player in each age division with the closest cumulative distance to the hole will receive 10 points. The player with the second-closest cumulative distance will receive 9 points, and so on, all the way down to the last player receiving 1 point.
  • Putt - Each player will attempt two total putts on the 18th green. One putt will be from approximately 15 feet and the other putt will be from approximately 30 feet. After each putt has come to rest, the distance to the hole remaining will be measured. The distance from the hole from the first putt and second putt are combined to give the player their cumulative distance to the hole. The player in each age division with the closest cumulative distance to the hole will receive 10 points. The player with the second-closest cumulative distance will receive 9 points, and so on, all the way down to the last player receiving 1 point.
