Boys 11-12 Division

In search of his second straight Boys (11-12) title, Aaron Leach got off to a sterling start with a first round 74.  However, in order to secure the victory, Leach would need to chase down Hanru Guo, who was one shot ahead after a first round 73.  On the strength of the lowest round of the tournament, Leach was able to take the lead and the victory.  Coming in second place was our first round leader, Hanru Guo after a 78 on Sunday.

Boys 9-10 Division

With a leaderboard packed full of players looking to earn their first FJT victory, Sunday was sure to be an exciting competition.  Leading the way after the first round was Clipper Salmon, after a one over, 73.  Clipper opened up a four stroke lead over Jiacheng Xu, with several others right behind Xu.  Looking to chase Salmon down, Philip Dunham came in on Sunday with a 75, powered by three birdies.  Salmon faltered a touch on Sunday, with a 78, but was still more than enough to earn himself the victory as his 151 total was three ahead of Dunham in second place.

Girls 11-12 Division

After a first round 79, Gloria Nip was going to have her hands full in going for an astounding four straight victories to start the 2018 season.  This was because Mi Li played outstanding golf on Saturday en route to a two over par, 74.  Rachel Gomez and Nip were four and five strokes behind Li respectively heading into Sunday.  Li however, was unrelenting as a second round 73 lead the field yet again and earned her an 11 stroke victory.  Finishing in a tie for second were Nip and Gianna Clemente, of Warren, Ohio.

Girls 9-10 Division

Just a field of two girls, the Girls (9-10) saw a tight competition.  Angela Nip got off to an early, five stroke lead after her first round 78.  Three early bogies by Angela brought Kayla Bryant right back into the picture.  Bryant did her best to close the gap in the final few holes with two birdies in the final four holes, but Nip's lead at that point was too much to overcome as she earned a four stroke win.
