Florida Represented Well at US Amateur

Five Players from Florida advanced to Wednesday's Match Play portion of the US Amateur Championship at The Country Club in Brookline, Ma.

2010 Amateur Champion Sean Dale, of Jacksonville, fell to Patrick Rodgers 3 & 2; Tyler Klava, of Pace, after advancing in a morning playoff, fell to Justin Shin 3 & 2; Julian Suri, of St. Augustine, fell to Zachary Olsen 2 & 1; Joey Petronio, of Orlando fell to Adam Ball 6 & 4.

Chase Koepka, of Lake Worth, was the lone player from Florida to advance.  Koepka began the morning by advancing to the Round of 64 in a 17 playesr for 15 spots playoff.  Koepka then used the momentum to knock of 6-seeded Michael Miller of Brewster, NY 2 & 1.  Koepka, a rising USF Sophomore and reigning Big East Player of the Year, will take on Charlie Danielson in Thursday Morning's Round of 32.
