Northwest Club Challenge

Eglin Golf Course - Niceville

April 5-6, 2003

Eglin AFB Golf Club was the site for the 2003 US Amateur Qualifier and 2001 US Open Qualifier. The Northwest Club Challenge will be played on the Eagle course, which was originally established in 1922 by gangsters and was named the Chicago Country Club of Valparaiso. The course has been under government management since 1941 when it was taken over by the Army Air Corps. Considered one of the most difficult courses in the Florida panhandle, the course is noted for its many hills, scenic beauty, and wildlife.
