     Ron McCann of Orlando won the 51st annual Cadillac/Florida Open in a playoff at Haines City.
     McCann, 28, a 1986 graduate of the University or Miami, parred the first extra hole for the victory after he tied Gene Jones of Winter Park at five-under 282.
     Defending champion Joey Rassett of Plantation finished with 72-285, tied for sixth.



McCann Tops Jones In Florida Open Playoff

     Ron McCann parred the first playoff hole to edge Gene Jones and win the Cadillac Florida Open at the Grenelefe Golf and Tennis Resort.
     McCann sank a five-foot putt to save par, then watched as Jones missed his par putt on a similar line from the right of the hole.
