Ron McCann of Orlando won the 51st annual
Cadillac/Florida Open in a playoff at
Haines City.
McCann, 28, a 1986 graduate of the University or Miami,
parred the first extra hole for the
victory after he tied Gene Jones of
Winter Park at five-under 282.
Defending champion Joey Rassett of Plantation finished
with 72-285, tied for sixth.

Jones and win the Cadillac Florida Open
at the Grenelefe Golf and Tennis Resort.
McCann sank a five-foot putt to save par, then watched
as Jones missed his par putt on a
similar line from the right of the hole.
