About the Florida State Golf Association
The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) is the
largest regional golf association in the country with
more than 600 member clubs representing 200,000 amateur
golfers. Formed in 1913, the FSGA conducts
hundreds of golf tournaments including state
championships and the Florida Junior Tour. The
FSGA provides golf handicapping and course rating
services to our member clubs with the help of more than
500
volunteers. The main office is based in Tampa, Florida,
and the organization employs a staff of 14 dedicated
individuals who provide support to our member clubs, our
volunteers, and the golfers of Florida.
