Jim joined
the FSGA in 1997 as the Executive
Director. He is a native Floridian who
grew up in Delray Beach and went on to
attend the University of Florida. After
graduate school, he practiced as a CPA
with Price Waterhouse in Atlanta,
specializing in real estate and was
subsequently the Chief Operating Officer
of a commercial real estate investment
firm. In 1987, Jim married the former
Gigi Wynne of Woodbridge Connecticut and
they have two children, Kate and Paul,
and a Chinese Pug named Divot. In the
time he has been with the FSGA, the
organization has become the largest and
most active golf association in the
country outside of the USGA. Formerly a
decent golfer, the responsibilities of
the FSGA and his family have reduced
Jim’s playing capacity to an abhorrent
level. Jim tries to escape with his
family to the North Carolina mountains
as time permits and he also enjoys his
children’s’ hockey and soccer games. |

Debby
joined the Florida State Golf
Association in December 2002, after she
became bored with living like a
transient gypsy & moving with the
military all along the eastern United
States & Europe. After literally
throwing a dart at the map of Florida,
she decided to make Tampa her home and
found her current position at the FSGA.
She graduated from Franklin Pierce
College with a B.S. degree in Accounting
& Business Management & quickly left New
England behind for warmer climates. She
loves to harass office staff with the
good ole Boston vs. New York rivalry.
Nobody really knows what she does in her
free time. Rumors have it that she is an
accomplished SCCA autocross Corvette
racer & plays her prized Gibson Les Paul
guitar in a local rock band, although
neither of these rumors has been
verified by the FSGA staff. |
