DESCRIPTION
This program is designed for beginner level golfers between the ages of 8-15. The program is for kids who have a basic introduction to the game but are not ready for on course play.

The duration of the program is 6 sessions (1 ½ hours each) = 9 hours of instruction. It includes on-course rules, etiquette, course management, and swing training. Participants will receive tees, balls, ball markers, bag tags, and a rules and etiquette test. The cost of the program is $15 per participant.

Most programs will run one session a week for six weeks. The sessions are generally set-up so that the first week is usually a review. The tee shot is done in the second session (this includes shot management and the etiquette that goes along with the tee shot). Then, during the week off, the participants will have time to go work the lessons they have learned. The next session will deal with all aspects of the approach shot. In week four participants learn how to escape from bunkers and hazards. Putting and chipping are covered in week five. In the last week there is a review of the entire training program and a preparation for the Challenge Golf League, which is the next level of programming for Hook A Kid on Golf.
