DESCRIPTION
Keith Kruegar is the director of South Fork High School's turfgrass maintenance program. This program reaches 102 students through an intensive year-round, hands-on continuous learning experience. South Fork High School has a three hole golf course that boarders a lake on campus. The students are in charge of maintaining the course as they learn about agronomy and golf course maintenance. South Fork High School received a 20,000 challenge grant that will support equipment, intern wages, and mechanic wages for the program.
