US
Open
University
of Florida golfer Billy Horschel shared
medalist honors in sectional qualifying at Old
Memorial GC in Tampa to advance to the 106th US Open
Championship. This year, Horschel led the Gators to a
second place finish at the NCAA Championship and
earned a 10th place finish in the Individuals.

Do you ever hear "Keep your head
down" or "Keep your eye on the ball?" This
advice is typically the cure-all to resolve topping the ball,
whiffing, or missing shots. Ultimately, this type of
conscious thought will restrict a player from successfully
repeating the motion of their golf swing.

FSGA Course Rating Team - First Place Again!
The FSGA mens course rating team tied for first
place with the Royal Canadian Golf Association at
the 2006 USGA Eastern Calibration at Hilton Head.
Charlie Caravati, Dale Strub, Brian
Robideau and Ken Hagamann scored an average of 98.5%
to finish first for the second consecutive year.
