We hear so much during the Olympic
Gymnastics competition about, “sticking the landing”. Though it
is only one component of the routine, it is what defines a
performance and the last thing the judges and audiences see.
The same can be said for a golf
shot. So much can be gained through the swing if we just
concentrate on where we want to “land”. For right handed
players, every swing should finish with the golfer facing the
target, firmly flat on their left foot, and up on their right
toe. Hold that pose until the ball hits the ground. Getting
there ensures good balance, a full turn, and a proper weight
transfer.
Stick the landing to finish each
shot and score a golf swing perfect ten.
