On Monday, June 11, Heathrow Country Club in Heathrow, Florida will host US Women's Open Sectional Qualifying. The field features 43 players including many of Florida's promising juniors. Twelve-year-old Alexis Thompson, from Coral Springs, and Ginger Howard, 13, from Bradenton, will join Vicky Hurst, 16, from Melbourne, hoping to advance to the 62nd US Women's Open.
