Are you having trouble
with distance control on the putting surface? If so, use
the following helpful drill to improve your distance
control and putting touch.
Taking your normal set up,
putt a ball from various distances to a target or hole:
1 foot, 2 feet, 3 feet, 4 feet, 5 feet, and 6 feet.
Then do the same from 2,
4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 feet.
When you have completed
this, putt a ball from 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 feet.
Complete the drill by
putting six 20-foot putts with your eyes open and then
six additional 20-foot putts with your eyes closed. |
