Have
you ever wondered what you can do to give back to the
game?
How about considering becoming a volunteer Rules
Official with the Florida State Golf Association. You’ll
have the opportunity to:
• Learn more about the Rules of Golf and tournament
administration
• Meet new people and make new friends associated with
the game
• Visit some of the finest clubs and courses across the
state
• Give back to the community and the game you love
As a matter of fact, we’ll train you to be a Rules
Official for free! You can go as far as you like; from
being a Committee member to a Rules Official to a Senior
Rules Official.
• We offer half day seminars on the Rules of Golf for
the beginners, and
• Full day seminars for a more in depth study of the
Rules, and
• Two day advanced Rules and Officiating Courses for
those that would like to become certified as Rules
Officials, and
• On course experience in State Championships as well as
qualifying for State and National Championships
By the time you’re done, you could be eating and
sleeping with the Rules!
We constantly are asked to provide officials for golf
events. From junior events in your area to National
Championships and everything in between, the FSGA
provides officials to junior programs and tours, college
events, celebrity pro-ams and professional tours.
Visit the FSGA website at
