favorite quote was when someone asked Jimmy Demaret who
was better, Nicklaus or Hogan? Demaret said he's seen
Nicklaus watch Hogan practice, but he'd never seen Hogan
watch Nicklaus practice.
Ellison Kuppermann of
BallenIsles CC in Palm Beach Gardens has shared some
great stories with us. They are all very relevant but
here is my favorite: A player complains that he
hit a shot and was poorly rewarded because it buried in
a bunker. We have all played with someone that
goes on and on but Ellison said to the complaining
player "Gee that's too bad that never happened to me
before." Stunned by the statement the player
stopped complaining!
