Congratulations to the FSGA's Rating Team!
The FSGA’s rating team finished first out of 14 teams at the USGA’s Eastern Calibration March 14-16 at Tiburon Golf Course in Naples.  The team of Brian Robideau, Bob Powers, Jim Marx, and Gary Donat combined to top 20 associations from around the world.  The calibration consisted of an individual quiz, a team quiz, and an on-course exercise.  Team FSGA scored a perfect 100 on both the individual and team quiz and garnered 97 points during the on-course exercise for a combined total score of 97.5.  The Eastern Calibration is one of three USGA Calibrations across the country.  The two-day sessions are used to rate teams on their on-course calibration against USGA Master Course Raters, comprised of members of the USGA Course Rating Committee.  In 2005 the FSGA team of Ron Audi, Don Glaser, Brian Robideau, and Carl Schlanger also captured top honors at the Eastern Calibration.  Way to go guys!  Keep up the great work!

Rulings

Course Rating News
A Captain's meeting was held April 21st and 22nd at Hunter's Green CC.  During the meeting, we discussed the recent USGA Rating Calibration Seminar and implemented a few new policies and procedures for our raters.  Click here to review the new policies.
