Bo Williams

On Friday, November 18, 2005, the Florida State Golf Association inducted Bo Williams into its prestigious Hall of Fame as a part of the first five to receive such an honor. The ceremony was held at Palma Ceia Country Club in Tampa in conjunction with the Annual Dinner.

Bo Williams, of Ocala, was inducted into the FSGA Hall of Fame in 2005.  He is a 3-time Florida State Senior Champion (1986, 1987, 1990) and 4-time Senior Four-Ball Champion with his partner Jack Veghte (1986, 1988, 1991, 1992). He also won the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship twice (1986, 1989).

Today there remain several golf tournaments in his honor.  He was the founding sponsor of the First Tee of Greater Ocala and remained involved as a member of the Board.
