Florida Open Eligibility
- Playing Activity - to be eligible, players must not have played, during the 12 months prior to the Championship (August 1st to the first day of Championship) played extensively on the following tours:
A. Major Tour Events - Must NOT have played in more than six (6) combined, PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, Web.com Tour, European Tour, PGA TOUR Latinoamerica, Mackenzie Tour- PGA TOUR Canada, Adams Pro Tour Series, Asian Tour, Australia/New Zealand Tour, Dakotas Tour, European Challenge Tour, European Senior Tour, LPGA Futures Tour (SymetraTour), OnCore Gateway Tour (eGolf Gateway Tour), Sunblet Senior Professional Golf Tour, SwingThought.com Tour (eGolf Tour; Professional Series, Winter Series, Carolina Series, Carolina Series and NGA - Great Lakes), JPGA Senior Tour, JPGA Tour, LPGA Tour, LPGT, PGA Challenge Tour, Tarheel Tour (eGolf Tour), The Safari Tour, The Sunshine Tour, WPTG tournaments, and/or any tour and/or tournament deemed by the Committee to be comparable.
The US Open, US Senior Open, PGA Championship,and Senior PGA Championship are NOT included in the 6-tournament count;
B. Minor Tour Events - May NOT have played in more than eighteen (18) combined West Florida Golf Tour, Moonlight, Florida Professional Golf Tour, No Exemption Tour (NEXT), Reunion Resorts Series, Minor League Tour, GOLFSlinger.com Tour tournaments, For the Players Golf, Sunbelt Senior Tour, and/or any tour or Open event deemed by the Committee to be comparable.
Eligibility Questions - Any question regarding eligibility should be referred to the FSGA office. The Committee maintains the right to declare a player ineligible at any time during the competition for failure to meet eligibility requirements. Ineligible players will not receive refunds.
