TALLAHASSEE - A mixture of incredible weather alongside a great test of golf led to a memorable weekend for Ellen Dong and Parker Bell.

Boys' 13-15 Division

On a weekend where red numbers were hard to come by, Zachary Ong and Will Davis were able to climb up the leaderboard, firing final rounds of 68 and 71 respectively. These impressive Sunday rounds were enough to vault them both to a tie for third place, just two strokes shy of champion Parker Bell. As impressive as those rounds were, the tournament came down to Joshua Stewart and Parker Bell jockeying for rights to call themselves FJT Champions. After first rounds of 2-under par by Bell and Stewart, both were in prime position to bring home the hardware. However, it was Parker Bell who bested Joshua Stewart by one stroke, with a round of 72, on Sunday to claim the title.

Girls' 13-15 Division

After solid first rounds, Ellen Dong and Madison Tenore shared the lead of a strongly contested girls division at Capital City Country Club. Emily Staples (79), Jacqueline Putrino (77), and Aaron Whitley (75) made strong runs at the leaders during the final round as they navigated the unique challenges of this undulated landscape. Madison Tenore also made a solid statement on Sunday, firing a round of 77, as she challenged eventual champion Ellen Dong all day. These final round charges could not shake Dong from the top of the leaderboard; her composure kept her dialed in as she finished Sunday at 75 and alone at the top of the leaderboard.
