Pine Tree to Host Four-Ball & Florida Open

The FSGA is proud to announce Pine Tree Golf Club in Boynton Beach as the host site for the 2019 Four-Ball Championship & 2020 Florida Open Championship. Pine Tree Golf Club is an exclusive private course designed by Dick Wilson in 1961 and is a favorite among the players in the southeast. Pine Tree is known their fast putting surfaces, perfectly conditioned teeing grounds, some measuring over 100 yards in length, and a challenging championship course.

Pine Tree will play to approximately 7,250 yards and par 71 for both championships.

Pine Tree is hosting the 70th State Four-Ball Championship in July 2019. The Four-Ball is 36-hole stroke play championships where teams of two players play "best ball". The Conservatory at Hammock Beach in Palm Coast is hosting the 2018 championship this July. Tiger Godwin and Kelly Sellers won the 2017 Four-Ball Championship at Trump Doral and are looking to defend their title in a couple months. Click here to view history on the Four-Ball Championship.

The 74th Florida Open Championship will be played on July 17-19, 2020 at Pine Tree. The championship is a 54-hole stroke play tournament that is open to amateurs and most professionals residing in Florida. JC Deacon, the Head Golf Coach of University of Florida men's golf team, won the Florida Open in 2017 at Black Diamond Ranch and is looking to defend his title this year at the Innisbrook Resort.
