Boys 13-15 Division 

Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club tested the juniors as round one saw an even par score from Erik Plenge, of Peru, take the early lead. Caden Burr and Joshua Pritchett finished one stroke behind tied for second place. The top of the leaderboard went through a change during round two where Dean Greyserman, of Boca Raton, carded five birdies to overcome a three stroke deficit and capture first place. Greyserman posted rounds of 75-69 to win his first FJT with an even par total of 144. 

Naples resident, Sam Kodak, came back with four birdies on his final nine holes to post a final round 69 and 145 total to claim second place. Caden Burr and Joshua Pritchett tied for fifth place at 148 (+4) while Plenge fell to tied for 13th place after a second round 81. Jack Roseman, of Naples, shot four strokes better in the second round, posting a 71, to finish in third place at 146 (+2).

Girls 13-15 Division

Chloe Kovelesky, of Boca Raton, won her second consecutive FJT by overcoming a one stroke deficit in her second round. Mi Li, of Orlando, led the field after a round one 74. Kovelesky got off to a rough start in the final round with a double-bogey on the first hole followed by two bogies. Not letting tough holes drag her down, Kovelesky finished the round with four birdies to finish with a 73 and 148 (+4) total. Mi Li struggled in the second round finishing tied for third place at 154 (+10) with Caroline Patterson and Jordyn Hodgson. Rachel Carlson, of Bradenton, played steady golf allowing her to claim second place with rounds of 77-76 – 153 (+9). Kovelesky earned her third FJT win in 2018 by five strokes!
