Girls 16-18 Division

Lauren Clark, of Orlando, tied the tournament low round on day two to erase a one stroke deficit and earn a victory. Chloe Kovelesky, of Boca Raton, claimed the early lead after posting five birdies en route to a one under-par 71. After a second round of 75, Chloe fell to second place seven strokes back with a 146 (+2) total. Clark as well had five birdies in her first round but ended with an even par 72. With only one bogey in her final round, Clark carded another five birdies to finish with a 67 and tournament total of 139 (-5). Lauren finishes 2018 with her third FJT win! Helen Noel, of Tampa, rounded out the top three with an impressive come-back round of 71 to finish at 152 (+8). 

Boys 16-18 Division 

Overcoming a one stroke deficit, Aaron Du, of Sanford, claimed his first FJT victory with a 141 (-3) total. Jason Duff, of Elkton, led the field after a round one 68, but finished in third place with a second round 75 and 143 (-1) total. Du was on a birdie train in round one posting six birdies. In the final round, Du made the turn at three over-par but finished with three birdies for even par and 141 (-3) total. Du earned a one stroke victory over David Siwy in second place. Siwy, of Bradenton, posted two consistent red numbers of 71 to finish in second place at 142 (-2).
