Women's Florida Team Selected

The Team Roster has been announced for the 2012 Women’s Southeastern Challenge Matches!  The inaugural matches will be held at the Country Club of Ocala on August 13th-14th.  The format for the Championship will include two matches on Monday: morning four-ball matches and afternoon foursome (alternate shot)matches. The second day will consist of 12 total single matches, with a player from each association in each match competing against one another (three-ball match). The FSGA selects a twelve (12) player team to represent Florida in this competition against Georgia and Alabama consisting of four (4) Women Senior Amateurs (50 and older) and eight (8) other women of which no more than two (2) junior players of age 17 and under.  The team selections include:

  • Director of Women’s Golf
  • Raised in Tempe, Arizona before she attended Boston College and played on the Women’s Golf Team for four years
  • Has competed in the US Women’s Amateur and US WAPL
  • Loves football, cooking, and owns a saltwater aquarium with her boyfriend!

Tracy Dachisen: Co-Captain, Tampa

  • Director of Volunteers
  • Originally from New Jersey before she moved to Tampa to play golf for the USF Women’s team for four years
  • Played on the Futures Tour following college
  • Her seven year old son, Peter, wants to be a WWE superstar!
