The Next 100 Junior Invitational was conducted at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL on January 4-5. This championship brings together a field of boys and girls, all of which who have yet to commit to a college or university. The event was originally scheduled for 54-holes (36 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday), but was cut short due to a three-hour weather suspension on Saturday afternoon. Fighting through the wind, rain and cold weather conditions to claim victory, Clark and Rudometkin proved their grit to the college coaches on site and to the many more following online from their warm & dry homes. Keep these two on your radar for future success in the coming year.
Low Round of January
- Patrick McCann
At the Florida Junior Tour at Capital City Country Club, Patrick McCann fired the low round for any FSGA junior event in the month of January. His second round of 66 included four birdies and two eagles (a back nine of 29). This is the lowest round at Capital City CC in the four years the Florida Junior Tour has been making it's annual stop there. Congratulations to Patrick!
