The Florida Junior Tour made four stops around the state in the month of February. Each of those events provided excitement and headline worthy news. We had five first-time winners, two hole-in-ones (on the same day) and record low scores.
First Time Winners
- Andrew McLauchlan - Esplanade Open (16-18) - February 1-2
- Nicholas Prieto - Palm Harbor Open (13-15) - February 8-9
- Kaley Amuso - Palm Harbor Open (13-15) - February 8-9
- Lev Grinberg - Ocala Open (9-12) - February 15-16
- Nicole Sardinha - Ocala Open (9-12) February 15-16
Hole-in-One
- Brooks Colton - Ocala Golf Club (Hole #8) 11 years old
- Nicole Sardinha - Ocala Golf Club (Hole #11) 11 years old
Scoring Records
- Karoline Tuttle tied the record low 36-hole score with her stout 67-67--134. What made the win even more impressive is that she was competing in the strongest 36-hole girls field in Florida Junior Tour history!
- Lev Grinberg tied the 18-hole scoring record and broke the 36-hole record by five strokes as he won by a record nine strokes.
