Four Win at Inaugural Two-Man Scramble

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Chip Brooke and Marc Dull were crowned champions at the inaugural Two-Man Scramble Championship on Sunday, while Brian Keenan and Paul Royak were victorious in the Senior Division.

Brooke and Dull fired a 24-under 120 to take home the three-shot win at the inaugural championship, while Keenan and Royak finished the weekend at 19-under 125.

 The duo of Brooke and Dull began the championship with a first-round 56, the low round of the weekend, to take a four-shot lead over the field. They carded three eagles and 11 birdies on the day. After Saturday’s first round, Will Davenport and Mike Smith sat behind Brooks and Dull after a first-round 60, posting two eagles and eight birdies.

Brooke and Dull began the final round with a birdie on the first, while their only hiccup of the weekend came with a bogey on the second. They added three more birdies on the front side, before finishing the round with three birdies and an eagle on the back nine. The duo used a final-round 64 to secure the win.

Davenport and Smith shot a final-round 63 to take home second place at 21-under 132. Two teams finished in a tie-for-third place at 19-under 25: Josh Pisarri \ Daniel Eggertsson and Kyle Roberts \ Lucas Carpenter.

Keenan and Royak took a share of the first-round lead at 11-under 61 with Bill Wrobbel and Gary Buffington.

The duo of Keenan and Royak began the final round with five birdies on the front nine to make the turn at 5-under. They added three birdies on the back nine to secure the one-shot victory with a final-round 64.

Bill Wrobbel and Gary Buffington finished second at 18-under 126, while Chuck Gould and Matthew Avril took third place at 17-under 127.
