Four Players Take Home Wins at Eagle Harbor

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – Four players took home Florida Junior Tour wins on Sunday at Eagle Harbor Golf Club. Benjamin Cai captured the win in the Boys 16-18 Division, while Sabrina Dami Kim took the win in the Girls 16-18 Division. In the 13-15 Division, Lance Hollingshead was victorious in the Boys Division and Lisa Copeland won in the Girls Division.

This is the first FJT win for Cai, Kim and Copeland, while Hollingshead picked up his second FJT victory of the year.

Boys 16-18

Cai fired a final-round 69 to take home the win in the Boys 16-18 Division, finishing the weekend at 3-under 141. He started the weekend with an even-par 72 to take a share of the first-round lead.

The Davenport native got off to a solid start in the final round with an even-par front nine. After a bogey to start the back side, Cai went on a run, birdieing four of his next six hole to move to 3 under for the day. He secured the win with a final-round 69, the low round of the weekend.

Sam Davis took second place at 1-under 143, with rounds of 72-71. Adam Waller finished third at 2-over 146, while Alexander Waller finished third at 1-over 147 with rounds of 77-70. Cai, Davis and Waller were the only three players to post under-par rounds for the weekend.

Girls 16-18

Kim survived a playoff to capture her first FJT win, posting a 9-over 153 for the tournament. She opened the weekend with a first-round 77 to take a one-shot lead over the field.

The Palm City native began the final round with a 2-over front side with a birdie. Kim played the back nine at 2 over, with the only hiccup coming with a double bogey on the fifth. She posted a 4-over 76 to finish the day in a tie for first with Katie Carman at 9-over 153.

Kim two-putted for par on the first playoff hole to secure the victory. Carman finished second, after round of 78-75 for the weekend. Three players finished tied for third at 14-over 158: Ava Zeng, Chelsea Nguyen and Kaia Wu.

Boys 13-15

Hollingshead picked up his second FJT win of the year in commanding fashion, earning the five-shot victory with a 1-over 145. He shot a 1-over 73 to take a four-shot lead over the field.

The West Palm Beach native started the final round with a 1-over front nine with a birdie on the second. Hollingshead birdied two of his first five hole on the back side, adding another birdie on the final hole of the day. He carded an even-par 72, the only even-par of better round, to take home the win.

Jules Gentil used rounds of 77-71 to finish second at 6-over 150, while Conlin Bradshaw earned third place at 8-over 152.

Girls 13-15

Copeland used a final-round 72 to capture the win in the Girls 13-15 victory, ending the weekend at 6-over 150. She finished the first round with a 6-over 78 to sit one shot back of the leader, Arenui Faana.

After a bogey to start the final round, Copeland birdied back-to-back holes on the 12th and 13th. She made the turn at 1 under for the day. She finished up the day with a 1-under back side, birdieing the final hole of the day. Her final-round 72 secured the six-shot win.

Yingshi (Lydia) Lin took home a runner-up finish at 12-over 156, while Faana finished third at 13-over 157.
