College Coaches Educate Juniors

December 17, 2012

Playing college golf is a goal shared by nearly all junior golfers, however, the recruiting process is one that is typically confusing and troublesome to juniors and their parents. After the first round of the Florida Junior Tour's season ending Tour Championship at TPC Sawgrass a college coaches panel was organized to help inform them on this process.

After a brief introduction from the FSGA the floor was opened to the approximately 150 juniors and parents in attendance. A panel of eight coaches, and a former NCAA champion, fielded questions from the audience pertaining to recruiting, coaching, college golf, and junior golf. Both players and parents asked great questions and the panel of coaches were very honest and informative.
