In the Senior Division, John Vaccaro, of Sarasota, (pictured far right) went wire-to-wire to cruise to a six stroke victory.  In the first round, Vaccaro fired the low round of the event with a one-under par 71, and continued his solid play in the final round with an even par round of 72 to earn his second title of the season. Dennis Brady, of Melbourne, and Pete DeLongchamp, of Sebring, finished tied for second place with a tournament total of three-over par 149.

In the Super Senior Division, Pete McDade, of Lakeland, (pictured far left) grabbed first place honors after a final round of 75 to win by two shots. McDade would take a two shot lead into the final round, after his first round of even par 72 and never looked back, notching his second victory of the season. Jerry Jackson, of Sarasota, took home second place after rounds of 74-75.  Alastair Walker, of Bonita Springs, finished in third place with a tournament total of 152.

The Winter Series events include seven competitions, six individual events and one four-ball event. There are three age divisions, Mid-Senior (40-54), Senior (55-64) and Super Senior (65 & over). The Winter Series is a great opportunity for golfers to compete in competitive events that normally may not because they do not live in Florida year round.
