The 50th USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship is being conducted at the Honors Course in Chattanooga, Tennessee, September 10-15. Five Florida women made the cut Sunday to advance to Round of 64 matches held yesterday. Three time USGA Senior Women's Am champion Diane Lang of Jamaica, Taffy Brower of Boynton Beach, Robin W. Donnelley of Palm Beach, Mary Jane Hiestand of Naples, and Nancy Smith of North Port, all made the cut set at a two- day total of 163.
Only Hiestand and Smith were able to make it through matches Monday, winning 1-up and 2-up, respectively. Round of 32 matches begin this morning, followed by Round of 16 matches this afternoon.
