The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) is the premier national junior program in the country that conducts over 100 junior tournaments each year. While the FSGA provides similar competitive experiences with its Florida Junior Tour and state championships, most of the top juniors strive to succeed on the AJGA.
To make entry into AJGA events easier for talented juniors they created the Performance Based Entry (PBE) system many years ago. Juniors earn "stars" from top finishes in events recognized by the AJGA's PBE program and use those stars to gain acceptance into AJGA tournaments.
FSGA state junior championships and the Florida Junior Tour have been a part of the PBE system for many years and the AJGA just announced an increase in the amount of performance stars juniors can earn at these events. Below is the update PBE for 2013.
