Some of the top women senior amateur golfers in the state will be competing April 7-8, at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club for the coveted Women’s Senior Amateur Championship title. The top women super-senior amateur golfers will also be vying for the Super-Senior Champion crown in Ocala come Monday.

Four Past Senior Amateur Champions – Mary Jane Hiestand (2013), Lynda Case (2012), Diane Lang (2006, 2010 & 2011), and Taffy Brower (2008)

Two past Women’s Super-Senior Champions – Nancy Jackson (2013) and Meredith Wolf (2012)

Two Past Women Senior Players of the Year – Mary Jane Hiestand and Diane Lang

The Championship format is 36 holes of individual stroke-play. Participants must be 50 or older to participate in the Championship, and 65 and older to compete in the Super-Senior Division. Spectators and media are invited to watch the state’s best senior amateur golfers compete at Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club.
