In the Boys 16-18 age division, Bryce Geraghty, of Gulf Breeze, fired an opening round of five under-par to seize the win by four strokes over Matthew Mourin. Mourin, of Miami Lakes, chased Geraghty during round two and finished with a one under-par score of 71 to move to second place. Uhland finished tied for third with Kevin Slayden after firing a second round 76. This is Bryce’s first FJT win, which earns him a spot in the Tour Championship.

In the Girl’s 16-18 age division, Amanda Doherty shot the only under par round in the girl’s division to capture the victory. Doherty, from Atlanta, Georgia, fired a first round score of 71, one under-par, to lead by three strokes over Teresa Conroy.  Amanda held onto her three-stroke lead with a second round score of 76, tournament total 147.  Conroy, of Tallahassee, finished in second place with a tournament total 150, three strokes ahead of Emily Uhland in third place. This marks Doherty’s second FJT win in 2014.
