Elliott Captures Mid-Senior Championship

Even par was good enough for Randy Elliott to capture the crown.

Randy Elliott, Winter Park, held off the charge of several players with a par 72. Elliott had 4 birdies and 4 bogies. He made the turn with a 33.

Finishing 2 strokes back with totals of 213 was Doug LaCrosse of Tampa, David Sutton of Maitland, and John Corzilius of Nokomis. Playing in the same group as Randy, David Sutton shot a 1 under 71. LaCrosse (69) and Corzilius (70) played in the next to last group but were unable to overcome the steady play of Elliott.

The low round of the day, 68, was shot by Bill Tribou from Vero Beach.
