Eagle Creek Golf Club is a new 18-hole 7,198 yard-Par 73 championship Orlando golf course, opened in March 2004 and located minutes from Orlando International Airport, near prestigious Lake Nona. This Orlando golf course was designed by world renowned golf architect Ron Garl and European designer, Howard Swan. The Orlando public golf course has five par 5’s, five sets of tees and over 90 bunkers that are reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England. In addition, the course is an Audubon International Silver Signature Course and is the first golf course in Florida with Mini-Verde greens, providing outstanding playing conditions. Eligibility
Male or female amateur golfers that are members of the FJT may apply for participation. Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the event by the FJT. The reason for rejection may include unbecoming behavior. Please see the Code of Conduct for further details.

Application Procedure
Tournament applications for this event may be submitted on-line at www.floridajuniortour.org. Players must complete a membership form, read the Tournament Policies and pay the membership fees before the tournament application will be processed. Entries must be received by 4:30 PM EST of the closing date. Telephone and fax requests will not be considered for selection. Players will receive an e-mail that their entry has been received and a second e-mail will be sent when the player is accepted into the field. The field will be selected after the entry closing date. As a player is not automatically confirmed into the tournament, travel arrangements should not be made until the second confirmation e-mail is received.

Entry Fee Includes
The entry fee of $95 includes Saturday and Sunday tournament rounds of golf, range balls prior to the tournament rounds and a tee prize.

Practice Round
Participants can set up a practice round at a special discounted rate of $25 plus tax by calling 407-273-4653. Times are available September 6-10 after 12:00 PM. Reservations can be made three days in advance with a credit card. All players must ride in a cart with a licensed driver. Parents may play for a fee of $40 plus tax. Practice Round cancellations must be made with 48 hours in advance of practice round tee time.

Walking and Pull Carts
Players must walk and carry their clubs during the competition rounds. Pull carts are permitted.

FROM ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Take the South Exit out of the airport to 417 NORTH. Go approximately 2 miles to Narcoosse Rd. exit. At the end of the ramp turn right and go about 1.5 miles to the entrance of the golf course on the left hand side.

Take 408 East to 417 South
Merge onto 417 South
Take Narcoossee Road Exit
Past toll booth, turn LEFT onto Narcoossee Road South
Go approximately 2 miles south to entrance of the golf course on the left hand side.

FROM WEST OR NW ORLANDO
Take I-4 to Bee-Line (528) East to Narcoossee Road exit past airport
At end of ramp, turn RIGHT to go SOUTH on Narcoossee Road.
Travel on Narcoossee approximately 5 miles south to golf course entrance on left hand side.

FROM SW ORLANDO (Disney Area)
Take 417 NORTH to Narcoossee Road Exit
Turn RIGHT onto Narcoossee Road South
Go approximately 2 miles south to entrance of the golf course on the left hand side.

Tees To Play
Tees are not set until the tournament staff arrives on site. Tournament set up can change, including yardages, to offset inclement weather or other course conditions (i.e. wet course conditions). Typical yardages are below:

  • Boys 13-15 will play approximately 6,600 yards
  • Girls 13-15 will play approximately 5,400 yards

This event is a Junior Golf Scoreboard ranked tournament.

Registration
Registration will be available in front of the golf shop beginning at 9:30 AM prior to the first round. ALL players are expected to register. First round pairings, tee gift and general tournament information will be distributed at registration.

Tee Times & Pairings
First round pairings and starting times will be available on the FJT website, www.floridajuniortour.org, three days after the closing date, after the completion of the first round all competitors will be regrouped by score within age group for their next round. Final round pairings will be available one hour after the final score has been posted. They will be posted to the FJT website, on the scoreboard, and in the golf shop. It is the players' responsibility to be at his/her respective tee at least 10 minutes prior to teeing off. We recommend that you always see your tee time in black and white and if you still have questions, please contact a FJT official at the host facility.

Rules
USGA Rules of Golf will govern play. Local rules will be distributed at registration on the day of the first round.

Pace of Play
Pace of play will be strictly enforced with anticipated rounds less than 4 hours and 30 minutes. We strongly recommend that all players read and understand the FJT Pace of Play Policy. The Pace of Play policy can be reviewed on the FJT website under the Tournaments section.

Spectator Carts
Spectators will be authorized to rent a cart for $20 plus tax, but must follow the published policy (available on site). More information is available on the FJT website under the Parents section.
