13th FJT Tour Championship

Divisions and Approximate Yardages

• Boys (16-18) - 7,000 yards
• Boys (13-15) - 6,700 yards
• Girls (13-15) & (16-18) - 6,000 yards
  • The Girls (16-18) and (13-15) age divisions will play the same set of tees (approximately 6,000 yards). Results that are sent to Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings and for AJGA PBE will have the two age divisions combined; however, the two age divisions will remain separate for FJT purposes (awards, points, exemptions, etc.).

How Entries are Accepted

• FJT winners from the current season in the (16-18) & (13-15) age division. A spot will be reserved for the Boy & Girl winners of the events that are held after the entry deadline. If the winners decline the spot or are already entered in to the field, the alternates list will be used to fill the open spot.
  • Winners from the *Non-Exempt* FJT's do NOT gain automatic entry in the the Tour Championship.
  • A 15-year-old who wins a (13-15) event during the season and turns 16 before the Tour Championship is exempt to the Tour Championship in the (16-18) Division.
• Winners of the current years  Boys' & Girls' Junior Championships & Junior Match Play Championships are exempt.
• A spot will be held for the junior who is in first place on the (11-12) Boys & Girls FJT Points List (points list ending with the current years Futures Championship). The junior golfer MUST have already turned 13 or be eligible to play up.
• Defending winners of the previous year's Tour Championship are exempt.
• All other entries are held until the close of entries date. Players are then accepted based off of their standing on the (16-18) & (13-15) FJT points lists.
  • Players who turn 16 during the season will have points from the (13-15) Division added to their (16-18) Division points
  • Players who turn 13 during the season will have points from the (11-12) Division added to their (13-15) Division points
  • For 2024, a spot will be held for the winners from the events that are after the close of entries.

Playing Up

• A (13-15) year old can only "play up" in to the (16-18) age division if they have met the following criteria.

  • Win a (16-18) FJT in the current year; or
  • Earn enough points in the (16-18) age division to qualify

Schedule of Events

• Saturday, October 5th (36-Holes Played)

  • 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM - Tournament Registration

  • 7:45 AM - 9:24 AM - Round one tee times off of the 1st and 10th tees

  • Upon completion of Round 1, players will score at the starting tee and immediately begin Round 2

• Sunday, October 6th

  • 7:45 AM - 9:24 AM - Final round tee times off of the 1st and 10th tees

    • Awards presentation immediately following the completion of play

How to Enter

• Entries are submitted through the FSGA website

• To enter, each player must create an FSGA account on this website (free to set-up), purchase a current Junior Membership ($45), and have an active Florida GHIN Handicap (included in membership if golfer does not already have one)

• To proceed, click the "Enter" button above once entries have opened.

• Late Entry Fee: A late fee of $10 will be applied to entries submitted after the close of entries date. The entry fee and late fee will only be applied if the player gets accepted in to the tournament field.

Practice Rounds

• Practice rounds are available one week prior to the tournament on a space-available basis

• Tee times are only available after 12:00 noon the weekend prior

• The price for a practice round is $50.00 + tax

• There is an additional $32 cart fee for parents wanting to ride (based on cart availability)

• Please call (941) 900-2424 to arrange your practice round. Players wishing to walk must do so after 3:00 PM

  • The proper place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range; hitting multiple shots on the course, not filling divots, and not repairing ball marks are unacceptable and may cause removal from the tournament without a refund
