The Junior Golf Foundation of America's mission is to provide affordable, year round golf learning and playing opportunities to all boys and girls 19 years of age and under.

Since November 1995, the foundation has had over 21,000 junior golfers participate in their instructional, course access, and tournaments programs. In May 2000, the Junior Golf Foundation of America received a $33,000 grant from the United States Golf Association. The grant will assist the foundation with instructional costs and also provide scholarships for those families who are financially challenged. Each year, the Junior Golf Foundation of America seeks out contributions and sponsorships from individuals, community businesses and large corporations. Annually, the foundation provides children with free equipment, college scholarships and program scholarships.

The Junior Golf Foundation of America has a comprehensive golf learning program guiding a first time player from the basic instruction to preparing them for competitive play. The golf learning program not only provides the children with solid golfing skills, but also the necessary skills needed to succeed in life.
