What Happened

Despite some treacherous weather causing a delay during the second round, 36 holes have been completed at the 29th Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship. Three players will begin the final round with a share of the lead at 2-under par and a three shot lead. Alexandra Gazzoli maintained her share of the lead from Friday after carding a score of 2-over par, 74. Jacqueline Putrino, who began the day four shots off the lead, recorded the lowest round of the day (2-under par, 70) to move up the leaderboard and into the final pairing tomorrow. Kaitlynn Washburn began the second round two shots behind Gazzoli, but with a round of even-par, 72, she also has a piece of the lead with just 18 holes to play.
