Women's Florida Cup Teams Announced

TAMPA, Fla. – The two 16-player rosters for the 2023 Women’s Florida Cup have been finalized and the North and the South Teams are ready to face off against each other in a Ryder Cup style format. The Women’s Florida Cup will be held October 23-24 at Mountain Lake in Lake Wales.

Each team is comprised of the four senior players with the highest points totals from the Women’s Senior Two-Year Player of the Year Points List, four players with the highest points totals from the Women’s Two-Year Amateur Player of the Year Points List, two Net players from the past two year’s Women’s Net Championship, two senior players selected by the FSGA Championship Committee, two players selected by the FSGA Championship Committee, and two Net players selected by the FSGA Championship Committee.

The 16 players selected to represent the North Team are: Therese Quinn, Ashley Zagers, Susie Keane, Lin Culver, Tama Caldabaugh, Kelli Pry, Carolyn Creekmore, Lanlan Sun, Jackie Twitty, Liliana Ruiz-Munoz, Emily Stoker, Lauren Heinlein, Chris Hunt, Linda Chen, and Elizabeth Breza.

The 16 players selected to represent the South Team are: Kim Keyer-Scott, Alexa Hammer, Terrill Samuel, Gigi Higgins, Mary Jane Hiestand, Meghan Stasi, Amy Kennedy, Wendi Christensen, Brooke Raney, Kathy Glennon, Suzanne Ricard, Meadow Southworth, Nancy Bradley, Betsy Knights, Cheryl Sadlon and Heidi Phillips.

Meet the North Team | Meet the South

Therese Quinn and Ashley Zagers will serve as captain and co-captain respectively for the North Team while Kim Keyer-Scott and Alexa Hammer will lead the South Team. The North Team includes eight newcomers, while the South Team has seven players set to make their Women’s Florida Cup debut.

In addition, the South Team includes the 2022 Senior Women’s Player of the Year, Gigi Higgins and two FSGA Hall of Famers, Meghan Stasi and Mary Jane Hiestand.
