Over 340 players attempted to gain entry into the championship field at the 25th Florida Amateur Match Play. Only 64 players advanced to the championship which begins Thursday, August 6th at the Turtle Creek Club in Tequesta, Florida. All 64 players will play 18-holes of stroke play to determine the seeds for match play. Then, all 64 players will advance to single elimination match play with the sole survivor being crowned the champion.
