  1. FORMAT: 54 holes of individual stroke play. After 36 holes the field will be reduced to the low 70 scores and ties.
  1. TEE TIMES: Rounds one and two will have tee times begin at 8:00am and 12:30pm. All players will play one morning round  and one afternoon round. Times for the final round will begin at 8:00am
  1. PRACTICE ROUND: Practice rounds are available one week prior to the event.  Practice rounds are restricted to after 12:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.  The cost of the practice round is $40.00 plus tax.  Please call (941) 355-6544 to reserve a time for your practice round. The place to practice your golf swing is on the driving range.  Hitting multiple balls on the golf course is unacceptable.
  1. COURSE SET-UP:  The golf course will be set-up approximately 7000 yards.

From West Palm Beach: Take I-95 north to SR 60 (exit 147).  Take I-75 south to (exit 217). Take SR-70 West (travel for 7 miles). Turn left onto US-41 South (travel 2.7 miles). Turn left onto Montgomery Ave. Sara Bay Country Club will be directly ahead.

From Orlando:  Take I-4 west towards Tampa.  Take I-95 South to SR 60 (exit 147). Take I-75 south to (exit 217). Take SR-70 West (travel for 7 miles). Turn left onto US-41 South (travel 2.7 miles). Turn left onto Montgomery Ave. Sara Bay Country Club will be directly ahead.

From Tampa:  Take I-75 south to (exit 217). Take SR-70 West (travel for 7 miles). Turn left onto US-41 South (travel 2.7 miles). Turn left onto Montgomery Ave. Sara Bay Country Club will be directly ahead. 

  1. ACCOMMODATIONS: Please click on the hotel icon on Championship page.
  1. PAYMENT: Sara Bay will accept Cash only for method of payment.
  1. GPS AND RANGE FINDERS ALLOWED: In this competition, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance ONLY. However, if, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional functions are actually used.”  The club is set up to use Laser Link, Sky caddie. 
  1. SPECTATORS AND CADDIES: Spectators and caddies are always welcome at FSGA Championships. Only players are allowed to ride in carts.  If a player employs a caddie, the caddie MUST walk and the player’s clubs must remain on the golf cart.
