2003 JUNIOR MATCH INVITATIONAL

IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

FORMAT:                                             Match Play will begin on Monday and Tuesday morning at 7:30 AM with the championship matches on Tuesday afternoon.

1.        Junior Division will play 1 round Monday morning. Based on potential weather (Tuesday) the Semi-finals may be played Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning with the Championship Match scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

2.        Regular Division will play round 1 Monday morning followed by round 2 Monday afternoon. Semi-finals will be played Tuesday morning with the Championship Match Tuesday afternoon.

COURSE:                                              The course will be set up at approximately 6800 yards for the Regular Division and 6100 for the Junior Division.

REGISTRATION:                               By 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10th, each person must:

Remit to the FSGA office, $50.00 per person for advance payment of course usage fees at Lake Nona Golf Club.  Players may send a check to the FSGA office or pay by credit card online through the account manager or my account feature at fsga.org.  Payment must be received by Thursday, July 10^th, or you will be withdrawn from the championship.

There will be a registration table in the pro-shop the day of the Championship.  Limited food & beverage will be available on Monday.

PRACTICE:                                          Practice rounds are available Sunday (July 13^th) after 11:00. You may reserve a practice round tee time by calling, 3 days in advance, (407) 857-6216. The fee is $30 including range balls.     

GOLF CARTS:                                    All players must walk and caddies may ride. There is no restriction on who may caddy. Cost of a cart (caddie) will be $30 per day.

DIRECTIONS:                                     From the South (Florida Turnpike) – Exit Bee Line Expressway (528), exit #254 and head east. Exit at Narcoossee Road/CR-15. Turn right on Narcoossee Road and travel approximately 2 miles. Turn right on Lake Nona Road to the Lake Nona gates.

From the West (Tampa), follow I-4 East to SR-417 (North), exit #62. Follow SR-417 to Narcoossee Road/CR-15 exit, exit #22. Turn left and travel north for approximately two miles. Turn left on Lake Nona Road to the Lake Nona gates.

From the East (Daytona), follow I-4 West to SR-417 (south), exit #101B. Follow SR-417 to Narcoossee Road/CR-15 exit, exit #22. Turn right and travel north for approximately two miles. Turn left on Lake Nona Road to the Lake Nona gates.

ACCOMODATION:                           Arrangements have been made at the Lake Nona Lodge for $120 (member rate) plus tax per night; (407) 859-3402 or the Orlando Airport Embassy Suites for $85 plus tax per night; (407) 888-9339 for reservations. Remember to identify yourself as a FSGA Junior Match Play participant when making the reservation.

DRESS CODE:                                    Appropriate golf attire is required at all times while at the club. Shirts must have collars and shorts must be of at least Bermuda length. Hats must be worn with bill forward.
