Pensacola CC (16-18 & 13-15)

Players and Parents,

Thank you for signing up for the Florida Junior Tour event this weekend at Pensacola Country Club. We have a strong field of approximately 60 players competing this weekend and we are looking forward to some low scores and great competition!

Pensacola Country Club is located on Pensacola Bay and is one of the oldest and most historic clubs in Florida. It was founded in 1902 and recently redesigned in 2006 by Jerry Pate. The club has hosted many USGA, FSGA and PGA Tour qualifiers.

Reminders & Notes:

  • Yardages and hole locations will be selected on Thursday. The approximate hole-by-hole yardages will be posted on our website Thursday evening.
  • Everyone must comply with the club's policies...hats off inside clubhouse, no jeans, collared shirts tucked in, limit cell phone use, etc.
  • Weather - Rain is expected this weekend. Bring your rain gear! We will make every effort to complete 36-holes, however, 18-holes may constitute a completed event.
  • Course - Pensacola CC does NOT have signs on each hole so make sure you tee off on the correct hole! We may paint hole numbers on near the teeing grounds to help identify what hole is which.
  • Pace of Play - 4 players earned penalties last weekend; don't join them! Be familiar with the FJT's Pace of Play policy! There are no warnings and groups are responsible for monitoring their own pace. Use a phone or watch to check your time every few holes (your max time will be on your scorecard) and keep an eye on the location of the group ahead of you. Checkpoints are at the 9th and 18th greens.
  • Player Registration will open at approximately 10:00 AM at the practice range (weather permitting) or at the clubhouse.
  • Time Zones - Pensacola CC is in the Central Time Zone. Remember to plan for the change if you are traveling from the Eastern Time Zone.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Thank you,
