Tournament Associate (Less Than 2 Years' Experience)

The new staff member will help conduct competitions for state championships and the Florida Junior Tour.  The position required extensive in-state travel, frequently on weekends. The position is based out of Tampa and involves preparing for future events and conducting competitions with the help of other staff members or experienced volunteer officials. The position includes long hours, travel, and frequent work on weekends.

Tournament Manager - (Minimum 3 Years' Experience)

The Florida State Golf Association seeks a Tournament Manager to join our tournament department to help conduct golf tournaments and championships.  Interested applicants should be highly personable and motivated.  We need someone who is experienced, hardworking, dedicated, and capable with computers.  You must know a lot about golf, its history and you must be passionate about the sport.  Experience working at a golf club or in tournament operations is necessary.

The Tournament Manager will be responsible for conducting championships for the Florida Junior Tour and the Florida State Golf Association.  Rules and competitions experience is critical, and the new team member must be capable working with golf facility staff members and volunteer officials.  The position includes long hours, travel, and frequent work on weekends.

About the Florida State Golf Association

The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) is the largest regional golf association in the country with more than 900 member clubs representing 260,000 amateur golfers.  Formed in 1913, the FSGA conducts hundreds of golf tournaments including state championships and the Florida Junior Tour.  The FSGA provides golf handicapping and course rating services to our member clubs with the help of more than 500 volunteers.  The main office is based in Tampa, Florida, and the organization employs a staff of 19 dedicated individuals who provide support to our member clubs, our volunteers, and the golfers of Florida.
