SUBJECT:                                Qualifying Information

 

1.      Enclosed are the groupings and pertinent information for the qualifying round at Southwood Golf Club in Tallahassee, FL on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. They will accept Cash and Visa/MasterCard for method of payment.  

 

2.      All teams MUST RIDE during the qualifying round.  The qualifying fee includes cart/course fee and range balls for the qualifying round.  Spectators and caddies are welcome, but they must walk at all times.

 

3.      Southwood Golf Club prohibits the use of traditional metal spikes.

 

4.      A check point pace of play policy will be in effect.  Please read the entire policy by clicking this link, FSGA Pace of Play Policy.

 

5.      To arrange your practice round, call (850) 942-4653. On a space available basis, practice rounds are available one week prior to the qualifying date; practice rounds are restricted to after 12:00 PM on Saturday & Sunday.  The cost of the practice round is $25.00 plus tax.  All contestants playing a practice round must reserve a tee time in advance.

 

6.      Practice Rounds:  Remember you are a guest at Southwood Golf Club and gentlemanly behavior and proper dress is expected at all times.  The proper place to practice your swing is on the driving range, hitting multiple shots on the course is unacceptable.

 

7.      At this time the number of qualifying spots had not been determined by the FSGA.  This information will be posted at the qualifier.

 

 

Only those teams, who qualify for the Championship, must pre-register and remit an additional $220.00 either online at the FSGA website at www.fsga.org or by check to the FSGA office for advance payment of Championship fees.
