Shuart & Connors Co-Medalists

After 18 holes of stroke play, Round of 32 matches have been set at Black Diamond Ranch.

Defending Champion, T J Shuart, and current Mid-Amateur Stroke Play Champion, Michael Connors, posted a two under-par 70 to finish the stroke play seeding round as co-medalists! Shuart, of Fort Lauderdale will enter match play as the number one seed while Connors, of Palm Beach Gardens, will be the number two seed. Glenn Przybylski posted the only other red number on the day with a one under-par 71 to capture the number three seed.

Due to the effects of Hurricane Matthew, the field was cut to the low 32 players after 18 holes of stroke play on Thursday. Fourteen players, who shot 76, went head-to-head in a four hole playoff to determine which nine players would advance to Match Play. Round one matches will begin Saturday morning at 8:00 AM.
