Bertucci & Madson Lead Senior Four-Ball

October 17, 2006

Felix Bertucci, of Gulfport, and Curt Madson, of Mount Dora, blasted an 8-under par 64 to be in front by one stroke. Madson, playing with new partner Bertucci, looks to win his fifth Senior Four-Ball title. Last year’s Champions Rick Woulfe, of Fort Lauderdale, and Bob Ethridge, of Plantation, are just one back from the leaders after posting a 65. The Ocala duo of Randy Briggs and Berger Warner recorded a 66 while three teams are at 67 going into the final round.  Teams of two, each 55 years of age or older, play 36 holes of four-ball stroke play in the Championship. The field of 52 is flighted after 18 holes.
