Sugar Mill CC (16-18)

Thursday, September 12th

Players & Parents

The FSGA staff arrived at Sugar Mill Country Club today to being setting up for the Florida Junior Tour event this weekend. The golf course is in perfect condition and the greens will be slick this weekend. Please take a couple minutes to read over the important notes and reminders below.

  • We are playing the White and Red nines at Sugar Mill CC. The White nine is holes #1-9 and the Red nine is holes #10-18.
  • Driving Range - All boys MUST hit the white range balls when hitting fairway woods and drivers. The range is only 200 yards long and the white ball are limited flight.
  • Yardages - The approximate yardages are available on the website. Click here
  • Registration - Player registration will open at 10:30 AM Saturday morning outside the Grill Room. Please check-in before heading down to the range.
  • The main clubhouse is the large building on adjacent to the parking lot, however the Golf Shop is located at the bottom of the hill next to the driving range. The scoreboard will be located in the Grill Room.
  • Spectator Carts will be very limited as the club does not have many carts. Carts are available first-come, first-served.
  • A breakfast special of only $4 is being offered each morning to players and parents (The Sugar Slam - two eggs any style with bacon and skillet potatoes). A lunch special will also be available.
  • Bottled water will be available on the starting tees and an additional cooler will be placed on the back nine. Consider carrying a couple empty bottles to fill when you pass a fountain.

Tournament Rounds and Volunteers

Members from the club will be serving as volunteers to assist with divots and raking bunkers. Every other group will have a member follow the group in their private cart and fill divots and rake bunkers as needed. Please thank them for hosting the event and for helping, but do NOT accept a ride in their cart or any information on the Rules. If you need an Official please find an FSGA Official or call the number on the hole location sheet.

Good luck!
