Our summer junior golf program allows up to 200 juniors ages from 4-18. The program runs for 8 weeks concurrent with the Charlotte County School Calendar on Tuesdays (June-July). Groups are based on ability, not age. Groups include 18 hole (Eagles), 9 hole (Gators), 7 hole (Manatees), 5 hole (Owls) and 3 hole (Ducks). Each Tuesday the junior will register, attend an educational session, then go out with their appropriate group for a 45 minute lesson, followed by tournament play on the course. The day finishes with results and a buffet lunch in the clubhouse. Over 2,500 local kids have learned the game of golf through our program. High school and college students often help with the younger kids to satisfy graduation requirements of community service. Anyone who has participated in our program is eligible to apply for a college/technical school scholarship in December of their senior year.

The summer of 2023 - Program will be held at an alternate location due to our golf course renovation project. Participation size may be limited.

Mission Statement: "To engage local youth in an exciting summer program of golf and camaraderie. To impact young lives by instilling qualities inherent to the game of golf...honor, integrity, respect and perseverance... thereby giving all participants a better shot at life"
